Chalon/Saor looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Promitheas ' players. Canadian Nate Darling (196-1998, college: Delaware) stepped up and scored 23 points for the winners and Lionel Gaudoux (198-1995) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Rob Gray (186-1994, college: Houston) responded with 21 points and American-South Sudanese point guard Kendale McCullum (185-1996, college: Lewis) scored 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
